We Didn’t Start Here.
We Grew Here.
Bay Area Black Wall Street was born in San Francisco in June of 2020 — launched during the pandemic to strengthen Black community wealth, visibility, and connection at a moment when our communities needed it most. What began as a local movement quickly became proof of something bigger: when Black entrepreneurs, creatives, and community leaders are connected, resourced, and seen, they build extraordinary things.
From our first Juneteenth festival in the Bayview to the launch of 1921 Lounge, we built real infrastructure, real community, and a real track record. Now we are expanding that model across the entire Bay Area.
